November is pancreatic cancer awareness month. This is when we remember our loved ones who are no longer with us. We also help increase overall knowledge about known risk factors, preventive measures, symptoms, traditional and integrative therapies, ways to relieve patients’ pain and emotional help for patients and caregivers. Those that live with the disease are to be emboldened by the wealth of information that assures them that having pancreatic cancer is not necessarily a death sentence. That there is still hope. So in this month of November let’s share the hope that someday soon this horrible disease will be a thing of the past.
